Australia has been at the forefront of developing approaches to reduce the density and impacts of introduced predators and implementing novel and ambitious species conservation programs. The profound and ongoing impact of invasive predators has driven substantial research and management innovation. I would say that anyone who has this passion needs to come and have this experience its the best day out I have had in ages and I would most definitely be coming back again xīest day of my life ! also thanks to moffie my owl and all the other owls and birds I saw today xxxxxxxThe Australian marsupial fauna has been devastated in the past 250 years, mainly due to impacts from invasive mammalian predators (cats and foxes), although other threats such as invasive herbivores, habitat loss and fragmentation, changes to fire regimes, and now climate change have played a role. Thank you to faith who is the owner and is doing a fantastic job and thanks to lily as you was amazing.Īlso when I left I received a mug and a moffie soft toy to remember her. I will be back soon and will volunteer in future. The experience was superb and above what I expected. Also she was so dedicated to making sure the owls are taken care of. The area was clean, our guide lily was fabulous knew all information about the owls and was very helpful in answering questions and allowed us time to feel and experience the wonder of owls. They have been great in making sure my vouchers were extended and today I was able to experience the owls and other birds too. I was meant to have had my experience 2 years ago for my 30th birthday but wasn't able to due to covid. I am obsessed as they are beautiful but smart in there own right. LOVE All birds of prey but nearest and dearest to my heart is OWLS.
